Shimatani Shouryu Studio (Takaoka Foundry)

Founded in 1909. One of the few studios in Japan that specializes in manufacturing "orin" for temples. In 2013, it launched its own brand "syouryu" and has been gaining new fans with "suzugami," tin containers that can be freely bent and stretched like origami.
