Shouryu is a new brand created by one of ten remaining craftsmen in entire Japan capable of making Buddhist Orin bells. The modern Suzugami plates and bowls are made of tin, which are hammered to be malleable so that constantly be reshaped. Suzugami series are sought out by notable Nobu, Narisawa restautants among others.
13x13 is just right for using as a plate or for placing small dishes or for sweets, and it is a size that can be used in various ways other than the table scene.
